We're looking for a Data Analyst to join the data=[lp-m` team. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to turn data into actionable insights — writing SQL, building dashboards, and helping teams make data-informed decisions. This is a great role for someone early in their career who wants to build strong analytical fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Write SQL queries and build data models that power dashboards used across the organization
- Design and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Data Studio, or Power BI)
- Optimize slow-running or high-compute queries for better performance and cost efficiency
- Perform data analysis in collaboration with different stakeholders
- Meet with stakeholders across geographies to identify problems that can be solved with data and gather requirements
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards
- Document report logic and data definitions for team reference
Requirements Non-Negotiable (Must-Have — disqualify if absent)
- Strong SQL skills — must be able to write and reason through joins, aggregations, window functions unaided (this is core to the role, not learnable on the job in this timeframe)
- Solid communication skills — will be speaking directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders across different countries; no room to compromise here, since this is often where junior analysts fail even if technically capable
- Requirement-gathering ability — comfortable asking clarifying questions and translating a vague business ask into a data problem
Negotiable (Nice-to-Have — don't disqualify, use for tie-breaking)
- Ability to optimize slow/high-compute queries — a strong plus signal (shows they understand data structures, not just syntax) but not a baseline expectation for 1–2 years experience
- Hands-on BI tool experience (Tableau, Data Studio, or Power BI — any one is fine, but must have built real dashboards, not just "familiar with")
- Python skills — good to have, but can be picked up on the job if SQL and analytical thinking are strong
- Which specific BI tool — proficiency in one is enough; don't require multi-tool experience
- Cloud data warehouse exposure (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake) — a plus, not required
- Exact years of experience — 1–2 is a guideline; a strong 8-month candidate with sharp fundamentals shouldn't be auto-rejected, and someone at 3 years shouldn't be disqualified either
- Knowledge about AI and experience is a plus. Personal projects with AI agents are encouraged.
