We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with solid expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Python to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. The candidate will be responsible for defining data architecture, cloud data strategies, data models, and engineering standards across enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end data architecture on GCP for large-scale data platforms.

- Develop scalable and optimized data solutions using Google BigQuery.

- Define data models including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks using Python and GCP services.

- Work with data engineers, analysts, application teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

- Optimize BigQuery queries, partitioning, clustering, storage, and compute costs.

- Establish data governance, security, access control, data quality, and metadata standards.





- Design batch and real-time data ingestion and processing architectures.

- Evaluate and recommend appropriate GCP services based on business and technical requirements.

- Define architecture standards, reusable frameworks, coding standards, and best practices.

- Provide technical leadership and conduct architecture/design reviews.

- Support migration of on-premise or other cloud data platforms to GCP.

- Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

- 16+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture, with significant experience in cloud data platforms.

- Strong hands-on experience with GCP + BigQuery + Python + SQL.

- Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and leading technical architecture decisions.
