Role Summary The associate will prepare Platinum and ad hoc reports requested by US financial advisors and internal stakeholders. The role requires understanding advisor requirements, US wealth management/TAMP terminology, report logic, data sources, and system-specific nuances.
The associate will work with SQL, advanced Excel, Salesforce, Wealth Manager, APL, and other reporting platforms to extract, prepare, validate, reconcile, and deliver accurate reports within agreed timelines.
Role & responsibilities
- Prepare recurring, Platinum, and ad hoc advisor-requested reports.
- Understand terms such as client, account, household, AUM, holdings, transactions, performance, gain/loss, contributions, and withdrawals.
- Interpret advisor requirements and ask relevant clarification questions when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.
- Extract and analyze data using SQL and Excel.
- Work across Salesforce, eWealthManager, APL, and other internal systems.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, quality checks, and reasonability checks before delivery.
- Manage multiple report requests and changing priorities.
- Support higher volumes around month-end and quarter-end.
- Maintain transparent documentation and communicate status, exceptions, and expected completion timelines.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum two years of hands-on reporting or data-analysis experience.
- Proven experience preparing and delivering reports, preferably client-facing, advisor-facing, financial, investment, or portfolio reports.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, data validation, filtering, and reconciliation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into reporting outputs.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
- US wealth management, TAMP, RIA, asset management, investment operations, portfolio reporting, or financial services experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, Wealth Manager, APL, portfolio accounting, CRM, or reporting platforms.
- Experience with AUM, household, performance, holdings, transaction, and gain/loss reporting.
- Experience handling advisor or client reporting requests and performing data reconciliation.
