We are looking for a DAT Executive to support our US Freight Brokerage operations. The candidate will be responsible for posting and sourcing loads through the DAT Load Board, identifying suitable carriers, negotiating rates, and coordinating with carriers and internal teams.
The ideal candidate should have good communication and negotiation skills, basic knowledge of US trucking/logistics, and the ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Post and manage available loads on the DAT Load Board.
- Search and identify suitable carriers for available loads.
- Contact carriers, dispatchers, and owner-operators regarding load availability.
- Negotiate carrier rates while maintaining company margins.
- Verify carrier information and coordinate with the Compliance/Safety team.
- Maintain regular communication with carriers throughout the load process.
- Track load status and coordinate timely pickup and delivery.
- Update load and carrier information accurately in the TMS/company system.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and dispatchers.
- Follow up on carrier responses, rate confirmations,
and required documentation.
- Coordinate with Freight Brokers and Operations teams for smooth load coverage.
- Monitor carrier availability and market conditions to support rate negotiations.
- Resolve carrier-related issues and escalate operational concerns when required.
- Achieve assigned daily and weekly performance targets.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in US Logistics / Freight Brokerage.
- Experience with the DAT Load Board is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of US trucking, freight brokerage, and carrier operations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Comfortable working in US Shift timings.
