We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant – Data Access Governance (DAG) / File Access Management (FAM) to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide file access and permissions management processes. This role will help ensure that access to organizational data is secure, compliant, appropriately governed, and operationally efficient.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Data Access Governance (DAG) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platforms. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical ability, and the capability to collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Compliance, Application teams, and other client business units.

Key responsibilities will be to

- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of DAG initiatives.
- Operate as a technical subject matter specialist and advise clients in understanding the future state problems and challenges in DAG and work collaboratively with them to enhance capabilities.
- Analyze, monitor, and optimize user access rights across on prem and cloud data repositories across the enterprise
- Facilitate periodic access reviews, entitlement certifications, and remediation activities to implement role-based access control and least-privilege access models.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with excessive, inappropriate, or outdated data access.
- Generate governance, compliance, risk, and audit reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving access permissions, access requests, approval workflows, and governance processes.
- Support compliance initiatives related to SOX, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and similar regulatory or security frameworks.




- Provide technical leadership and recommendations for the DAG roadmap, platform enhancements, and process improvements, and identify AI automation use cases.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, document requirements, and address business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

- B.E. / B. Tech / MBA / Information Security
- Demonstrated working knowledge of DAG/DSPM solutions like Varonis, Securiti.ai, Cyera, BigID etc.
- Have minimum working experience of 5 years on DAG/DSPM solution
- In-depth understanding of on-prem storages like windows and NetApp file servers, and cloud repositories like SharePoint and OneDrive including their architectures, connection protocols, and integration points
- Candidate must have implemented and operated DAG/DSPM technologies & solutions for a client
- Responsible for day-to-day operations - such as health checks, report generation sensitive data scanning, user activity log monitoring, vulnerability management and facilitating end user training
- Identify areas of continuous improvement and present recommendations to the client
- Ensure SLAs/SLOs/OLAs related to incidents, change and service request are adhered to
- Communicate professionally and effectively at all organizational levels as well as externally with the customer
- Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and logical structuring skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within high-performing teams in agile settings, often interacting with Access Management, Storage and Compliance teams

Preferred:

- DSPM certifications
- CISSP, CCSP or equivalent certification desired
- Scripting experience in PowerShell / Python / Terraform
