Experience:-

10- 15 years of overall Microsoft Dynamics experience, including at least 5 years working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and 3+ years in a Technical Architect or Solution Architect role.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O; Technical Architect to design and govern scalable, secure and maintainable enterprise solutions.

The architect will provide technical leadership across implementations, upgrades, integrations, data migration, customization, security and production support.

The candidate should have robust hands-on experience in X++, D365 F&O; extensibility, Azure integrations, LCS, Azure DevOps and technical solution design.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should combine strong D365 F&O; development expertise with architecture, integration and delivery leadership. The candidate must be capable of remaining technically hands-on while guiding development teams and communicating solution decisions to business and senior technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Define the overall technical architecture for D365 Finance & Operations implementations.
- Convert functional and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Prepare solution designs, Technical Design Documents, Integration Design Documents and architecture diagrams.
- Lead technical fit-gap analysis and evaluate customization feasibility.
- Design upgrade-safe customizations using extensions, Chain of Command and event handlers.
- Provide technical guidance for finance, supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse, retail or project accounting solutions.
- Design integrations between D365 F&O; and external applications.
- Recommend suitable integration patterns using OData, REST APIs, custom services, business events, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- Design and oversee data migration using Data Management Framework,



data entities and data packages.
- Define data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation and cutover strategies.
- Establish coding standards, branching strategies, code-review practices and deployment procedures.
- Manage environments, builds and deployments through LCS and Azure DevOps.
- Review technical designs and code for quality, security, performance and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, batch-processing and performance issues.
- Design role-based security using roles, duties, privileges and segregation-of-duties principles.
- Support upgrades, One Version updates, mock cutovers, production go-live and post-production stabilization.
- Estimate development effort and allocate work across technical teams.
- Mentor developers and lead onshore/offshore delivery teams.
- Coordinate with functional consultants, developers, business stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate mitigation plans.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Advanced hands-on development experience in X++.
- Strong knowledge of extensions, Chain of Command, event handlers and D365 extensibility framework.
- Experience with forms, tables, classes, data entities, workflows, batch jobs and SSRS reports.
- Strong understanding of D365 F&O; application architecture and development framework.
- Experience designing enterprise integrations using:

- OData and REST APIs

- Custom services

- Business events

- Azure Service Bus
- Logic Apps or Azure Functions




- Dual-write or Dataverse integrations
- Strong experience with Data Management Framework and data migration.
- Experience with LCS, Azure DevOps, source control, builds and deployments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, branching and release-management practices.
- Experience preparing technical architecture and solution-design documentation.
- Strong debugging, performance-tuning and production-support capabilities.
- Experience leading technical teams and conducting code and design reviews.
- Strong stakeholder communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps and Dataverse.
- Knowledge of Electronic Reporting, Power BI and reporting architecture.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Key Vault and Application Insights.
- Experience with Commerce, Retail, Warehouse Management or Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of licensing, environment planning and disaster-recovery considerations.
- Experience with AX 2012-to-D365 F&O; upgrades or cloud-migration programmes.
- Familiarity with non-functional requirements, including security, performance, availability and scalability.
- Experience working in global or multi-country D365 implementations.

Education Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred Certifications

- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate
- Relevant Microsoft Azure or Power Platform certification
