About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join our team on an hourly contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting advanced AI research and evaluation projects focused on cybersecurity. Your expertise will contribute to developing realistic enterprise cybersecurity scenarios, creating reference outputs, and building comprehensive evaluation frameworks that mirror real-world security operations.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to collaborate with our global team while maintaining a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security architectures, incident response, threat detection, and risk management, with a passion for applying their knowledge to innovative research initiatives.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles such as Security Engineer, CISO,



Security Lead, or equivalent. You should have a proven track record of managing incident response, security architecture, or compliance initiatives, demonstrating strong technical and analytical capabilities. Familiarity with security operations, cybersecurity tools, risk management practices, and current threat landscapes is essential.

Knowledge of industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or EU NIS2 is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively. Candidates should also demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive cybersecurity scenarios that encompass SOC monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
- Create detailed tasks across various domains including threat detection, penetration testing, security engineering, and Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).
- Design and implement scenarios utilizing industry-standard tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Qualys, and enterprise GRC platforms.
- Apply threat modeling, incident response,



and risk assessment methodologies to ensure realistic and challenging scenarios.
- Produce detailed reference incident reports, security assessments, architecture designs, and compliance documentation to serve as benchmarks for evaluation frameworks.
- Develop evaluation rubrics that effectively differentiate authentic enterprise security judgment from generic or textbook knowledge, ensuring practical relevance.
