Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Custom Clearance Documentation Executive (CHA). The role involves preparing and verifying customs documentation for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and procedures. The executive will coordinate with clients, customs authorities, shipping lines, and internal teams to facilitate timely clearance of cargo.

Daily tasks include data entry into customs and company systems, tracking and updating shipment status, maintaining accurate records,



and resolving documentation discrepancies. The role also requires monitoring regulatory changes, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements in customs clearance operations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of customs brokerage processes and documentation for clearance.
- Hands-on experience with import and export procedures, including Import Export documentation.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with clients, customs officials, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to work with deadlines.
- Familiarity with Indian customs regulations, port procedures, and CHA operations.
- Proficiency with MS Office and relevant logistics or customs software platforms.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, commerce, or a related field; relevant CHA or logistics certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a freight forwarding, logistics, or customs clearance environment preferred.
