Who We're Looking For

At MindKind Early Years(MKEY), the Curriculum Coordinator plays a key role in bringing our philosophy to life. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, understands child development, and enjoys designing meaningful learning experiences for young children. The ideal candidate is creative, organised, collaborative, and enjoys mentoring educators to deliver high-quality learning every day.

Someone who finds joy in spending time outdoors, exploring nature, observing the changing seasons, and creating hands-on, meaningful experiences for children will thrive in this role. A love for nature-based learning, curiosity, and a willingness to continually explore and experiment with current ideas are a wonderful bonus.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's or Master's degree. Preferably in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field.

· 1–3 years of experience in curriculum planning or teaching in an early years setting.





· Strong understanding of inquiry-led, and child-centred learning approaches.

· Strong spoken English; proficiency in Tamil is an advantage.

· Excellent planning, documentation, and organisational skills.

· Strong written and spoken English; proficiency in Tamil is an advantage.

· Experience mentoring or supporting teaching teams is preferred.

· A willingness to embrace MindKind's philosophy of nature-based learning, mindfulness, and gentle, respectful teaching.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, development, and continuous improvement of the MKEY curriculum for 2 to 6 year olds.
- Collaborate with facilitators to prepare lesson plans and learning experiences catering to every child at MKEY.
- Coach and support facilitators to ensure consistent, high-quality classroom implementation.
- Observe classrooms regularly and provide constructive feedback and mentoring.
- Oversee children's developmental observations and documentation.
- Curate classroom materials, learning resources, and provocations aligned with curriculum goals.
- Plan seasonal themes, school events, and parent engagement activities.
- Drive continuous curriculum innovation through research, reflection, and career development while upholding MindKind's philosophy.
