As a Credit Processing Analyst, you will play a vital role in our organization's credit operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of credit applications and related documentation. You will work closely with our credit team, underwriters, and customers to facilitate the credit approval process.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

- Review and analyze credit applications, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Verify and validate customer information, including income, employment, and credit history.
- Evaluate credit risk and make recommendations for approval or denial of credit applications.
- Communicate with customers regarding their credit applications, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit processing activities.
- Collaborate with underwriters and credit officers to gather additional information or clarify application details.
- Ensure timely processing of credit applications within established service level agreements.




- Identify and escalate potential credit risks or fraudulent activities to the appropriate teams.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit processing procedures and guidelines.
- Provide support and training to junior credit processing staff as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit processing or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of credit policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound credit decisions.
- Proficiency in using credit analysis tools and software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity software.
