We are looking for professionals with strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills to join its Large Corporates team. The role involves conducting comprehensive credit assessments of large corporate entities, evaluating financial and business risks, interacting with senior management teams, and supporting rating decisions through detailed research and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
· Understand and evaluate business models, financial statements, and industry dynamics to assess the creditworthiness of large corporate entities.
· Perform rigorous analytical work, including fundamental credit analysis, financial statement analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting.
· Analyze various risks using quantitative and qualitative information.
· Prepare detailed analytical reports, rating notes, rating rationales, and press releases.
· Conduct ongoing monitoring of rated companies and industries to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
· Undertake plant visits and management meetings to gain insights into operational and strategic developments.
· Present analytical findings and recommendations before Rating Committees.
· Interact with clients to obtain information and facilitate timely completion of rating assignments.
· Maintain analytical responsibility for a portfolio of rated corporate issuers under the guidance of Group Heads.
· Prepare assignment schedules and ensure timely completion of rating reviews and surveillance activities.
· Draft quarterly review notes based on financial performance, industry developments, and management interactions.
· Track macroeconomic, regulatory,
and sector-specific developments and assess their impact on rated entities.
· Recommend appropriate rating actions as part of ongoing surveillance activities.
· Build and maintain regular engagement with senior management teams of rated entities and communicate analytical views effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
· Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
· Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Credit Rating, Credit Research, Corporate Banking, Risk Management, Financial Analysis, or related domains.
· Robust understanding of:
o Financial Statement Analysis o Corporate Finance o Credit Risk Assessment o Financial Modelling & Forecasting o Industry and Economic Analysis
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
Key Skills & Competencies
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior management, clients, and internal stakeholders.
· Strong report-writing skills, including preparation of rating notes, credit opinions, and analytical reports.
· Effective presentation skills with the ability to present recommendations before Rating Committees.
· Strong stakeholder management and client-facing capabilities.
· Ability to manage multiple assignments independently while adhering to strict timelines.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
· Strong business acumen and ability to interpret complex financial and operational information.
