About the Role

Milah by Kolkata Shop vesu is a designer clothing store specializing in premium Lucknowi and Jaipuri collections, Kolkata kantha work dupattas, handmade kurtis, lehengas, Anarkalis, and designer moti work clutches. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Salesman / Retail Sales Associate to join our in-store team at our Vesu store. The ideal candidate should have an eye for ethnic fashion, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to assist clients with personal styling.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet walk-in clients warmly, understand their clothing requirements, and provide personalized styling consultations.

- Present and explain boutique collections, including Lucknowi hand embroidery, Jaipuri outfits, Kolkata kantha dupattas, and handcrafted accessories.

- Assist clients in choosing complete ensembles, pairing lehengas, Anarkalis, and kurtis with matching dupattas and designer clutches.

- Maintain store presentation, visual merchandising, and proper folding and display of delicate handwork garments.

- Manage stock counts, monitor rack replenishment,



and ensure fitting rooms and inventory areas remain organized.

- Process point-of-sale transactions across payment methods, including debit/credit cards and UPI/Tez mobile payments.

- Handle client inquiries and basic coordination over WhatsApp or phone calls for custom inquiries and orders.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Freshers and young professionals are welcome however having Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in women’s ethnic wear would be an added advantage.

- Knowledge: Familiarity with ethnic fabrics, embroidery styles (Lucknowi, Kantha, handwork), and sizing/fit alterations.

- Languages: Fluency in Hindi and Gujarati; basic working knowledge of English is an advantage.

- Skills: Solid communication, active listening, persuasion, and customer relationship-building skills.

- Availability: Willingness to work retail store hours, including weekends.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
