Role Description The Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Counselor will guide prospective and current learners in selecting suitable courses and training programs, based on their interests, career goals, and skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, handling walk-in and telephonic inquiries, explaining program details, fees, and schedules, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and admissions.

The role also involves coordinating with trainers and administrative staff, supporting admission and enrollment processes,



and participating in outreach activities such as seminars, events, and institutional visits. The Counselor will be expected to provide empathetic support, monitor learner progress, and help learners navigate internship, placement, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills for effective counseling and learner support.
- Candidates should possess organizational, time management, and documentation skills to handle inquiries, records, and admission processes efficiently.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy and proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, email, spreadsheets, CRM or student management systems).
- Candidates should possess skills in customer service, relationship building, and stakeholder management to engage with students, parents, institutions, and corporate partners.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills to address learner concerns and guide them in career choices.
- Relevant experience in academic counseling, career guidance, or education/training services is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Management, or related fields preferred).
- Ability to work on-site in Patna, with flexibility for extended hours during peak admission seasons.
- Familiarity with technology training domains (e.g., IT, software, digital skills) will be an added advantage.
