We are looking for a Costing Executive who has experience in BOQ, estimation and costing for fire-fighting installation projects and manufacturing. The person will be responsible for calculating material, labour and other project costs and preparing quotations and cost sheets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQ and cost estimates for fire-fighting installation projects.
- Check project drawings and understand the material and work required.
- Calculate the quantity and cost of pipes, valves, pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, fire alarm items and other materials.
- Calculate labour and installation costs.
- Prepare rate analysis and project-wise costing.
- Prepare costing for manufacturing of fire-fighting products/equipment.
- Take quotations from vendors and compare material prices.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Project,
Production and Sales teams for costing-related information.
- Maintain updated material and vendor rates.
- Compare estimated cost with actual project cost and identify cost differences.
- Assist in cost control and project profitability analysis.
- Maintain proper records of BOQs, estimates, quotations and costing sheets.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of BOQ, estimation and costing.
- Experience in fire-fighting/fire protection projects or manufacturing will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of fire-fighting system materials and installation work.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
- Positive calculation and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in a relevant field.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
