Role Description This is a full time, in office Copy Editor role based in Noida.

The Copy

Editor will review and refine a wide range of manuscripts and content to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client-specific style guidelines.

Responsibilities include copyediting for grammar, clarity, and tone; checking facts where required; and ensuring proper structure, punctuation, and usage across scholarly and commercial content. The role involves close collaboration with editorial, production,



and project management teams to meet quality standards and deadlines.

The Copy

Editor will also contribute to continuous improvement of editorial workflows, provide feedback on recurring issues, and help maintain KGL’s commitment to editorial integrity.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Grammar and Text Editing skills, with an ability to apply style guides and maintain consistency.
- Candidates should possess excellent Proofreading skills, including attention to detail and error detection in spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
- Candidates should possess solid Editorial skills, including familiarity with publishing workflows and editorial policies.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Writing skills, including the ability to refine language for readability and audience appropriateness.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in academic, STM, or professional publishing is preferred, along with familiarity with common editorial style guides (e.g., AMA, APA, Chicago).
- Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, and comfort working with editorial tools and content management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and openness to feedback and process improvements.
