Job Summary iMerit is seeking Content Risk Associates to join its Trust & Safety team in Kolkata and Shillong. This dual-function role is responsible for reviewing user-generated content for platform integrity and providing direct, empathetic customer support to resolve user inquiries and policy appeals.

Key Responsibilities

- Content Moderation: Review text, images, and videos against community guidelines, applying independent judgment where policies leave room for interpretation.
- Customer Support & Appeals: Interact directly with users via support tickets to resolve account inquiries, appeals, and platform questions.
- Performance Standards: Consistently meet established SLA, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction (CSAT) targets.
- Documentation & Insights: Clearly document findings, decision rationale, and highlight recurring user pain points or policy gaps to leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in Content Moderation, Trust & Safety, or Customer Support/Service.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal English skills (C1 level) with strong customer empathy and de-escalation abilities.
- Technical Skills: Experience with ticketing systems and content moderation platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow).
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, policy interpretation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment in grey areas.
- Work Environment: Ability to review sensitive or graphic content in a rapid-paced, metrics-driven, 24/7 rotational shift environment.
