Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer with strong expertise in PowerMill to join our manufacturing team. The role involves converting engineering drawings and 3D CAD models into accurate, optimized CNC programs for production. You will work closely with the design, tooling, production, and quality teams to ensure components are manufactured safely, efficiently, and within specified tolerances.

This is an chance for an experienced CNC professional to take ownership of programming and contribute to the development of advanced manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, edit, simulate, and optimize CNC programs using PowerMill.
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and manufacturing requirements.
- Develop efficient toolpaths based on component geometry, material, machine capability, and machining requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling strategies, feeds, and spindle speeds.
- Prepare and maintain CNC setup sheets and machining documentation for machine operators.
- Optimize machining cycles to improve accuracy, surface finish, productivity, and tool life.
- Collaborate with CNC operators and the production team during machine setup and trials.




- Support first-article inspection and make necessary program corrections based on inspection results.
- Work with the Quality team to validate components using calipers, micrometers, CMM data, and other inspection methods.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of CNC programs.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on CNC programming experience.
- Robust proficiency in Autodesk PowerMill.
- Experience programming CNC machining operations based on 3D CAD models.
- Good understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Experience working with CNC machining, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with moulds, dies, tooling, or precision components.
- Experience working with complex 3D surfaces and multi-axis machining.
- Familiarity with CNC machine setup and shop-floor operations.
- Ability to work effectively with Design, Production, Tool Room, and Quality teams.
