Role & responsibilities

1. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

- Legal & Certifications: Maintain complete awareness and adherence to all central, state, and local laws applicable to diagnostic centers.
- Licensing & Renewals: Ensure timely procurement, tracking, and renewal of all mandatory licenses, NOCs, pollution control board consents, trade licenses, and factory/shop registrations.
- Audit Management: Conduct regular internal audits to identify compliance gaps, coordinate with external regulatory authorities during inspections, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

2. Vendor & Facility Administration

- Vendor Management: Evaluate, onboard, and manage external service providers and vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met cost-effectively and transparently.
- Facility & Building Management: Oversee general laboratory administration, facility upkeep, housekeeping, security, pest control, and infrastructure safety (fire safety, HVAC, electrical systems).
- Asset & Equipment Management: Maintain a comprehensive asset register for all lab machinery and office equipment, tracking utilization, maintenance history, and depreciation.

3. Equipment Maintenance & AMCs





- Lab AMC/CMC Management: Negotiate, execute, and monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMCs) for all high-end diagnostic equipment (e.g., analyzers, imaging machines).
- Uptime & Calibration: Coordinate with biomedical engineers and manufacturers to ensure minimal equipment downtime, scheduled calibrations, and quality control (QC) compliance to meet diagnostic accuracy standards.

4. Labour & Workforce Compliance

- PF & ESIC Management: Oversee end-to-end Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) compliance, ensuring timely monthly contributions, filings, KYC updates, and grievance resolution for staff.
- Contract Labour Management: Manage third-party vendors and contract workers in compliance with the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, maintaining proper wage registers, attendance tracking, and statutory remittances.
- General Labour Laws: Ensure adherence to minimum wages acts, payment of wages, maternity benefits, skilled tax, and working hours regulations across the facility.
