About Dear Saathi** Dear Saathi is building a trusted companionship and assistance service for senior citizens. We help elderly individuals go out for appointments, hospital visits, errands, social activities, or simply have someone to talk to when family members are unavailable.

Our vision is simple — Apno Jaisa Saath Hamesha. About the Internship We are looking for Companion Interns who are compassionate, responsible, patient, and comfortable spending time with senior citizens.

As a Companion Intern, you will accompany and assist elderly individuals during their everyday outings and activities. This is a hands-on opportunity to create real social impact while gaining experience in communication, responsibility, empathy, and working with senior citizens.

What You’ll Do * Accompany senior citizens for hospital/doctor visits, errands, walks, social activities, and other outings.

- Provide friendly conversation and companionship.
- Assist them with basic mobility and navigating their visit or outing.
- Help ensure they are comfortable and protected during the service.
- Keep the family informed about the visit when required.
- Follow Dear Saathi's safety, communication, and service guidelines.
- Maintain a respectful, patient, and professional attitude at all times.

Who We’re Looking For * College students or young professionals who genuinely enjoy interacting with senior citizens.

- Patient, empathetic,



responsible, and trustworthy individuals.
- Good communication skills.
- Comfortable travelling within Pune when required.
- Someone who can commit to assigned visits based on their availability.
- Previous experience with senior citizens or caregiving is not mandatory. We provide the necessary orientation and guidance.

Duration: 3 months

Schedule: Flexible, based on your availability and assigned visits

Compensation: This is a paid internship. Companions will be paid based on the number of hours completed for each assigned visit.

Important This role is not a medical or nursing position. Companions are not expected to provide medical treatment, medication administration, or clinical care.
