We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to ensure transparent and consistent messaging across all internal channels. This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to align communication efforts with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication plans that align with organizational objectives and priorities.
Create engaging content for internal communication channels including email newsletters, intranet, memos, and presentations.
Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate and timely communication of important updates, initiatives, and announcements.
Manage the editorial calendar to ensure a steady flow of relevant content and timely distribution.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, and adjust strategies as needed to drive engagement and alignment.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on internal communication matters, providing guidance and recommendations to enhance employee engagement and morale.
Lead internal communication campaigns for special initiatives, events, and projects,
ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
Provide training and support to staff on effective communication techniques and best practices.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in internal communications and incorporate innovative approaches to enhance communication effectiveness.
Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration.
Requirements
Proven experience in internal communications, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling messaging.
Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including email marketing software, intranet systems, and content management systems.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and engaging employees through impactful communication.
Experience in change management communication is a plus.
Knowledge of design principles and experience with graphic design software is desirable but not required.
