PVR INOX is looking for a Commis to support the kitchen team in preparing quality food while maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items as per standard recipes and quality guidelines.
- Work across Continental, Chinese and Multi-Cuisine food preparation as required.
- Perform basic food preparation including cutting, chopping, marination, portioning and cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment and workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of food ingredients.
- Check the quality and freshness of raw materials before use.
- Support the Chef/Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and timely order preparation.
- Maintain proper stock usage and minimize food wastage.
- Coordinate with the F&B; and service team for smooth and timely food delivery.
- Follow all company SOPs, safety guidelines and operational standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass or Diploma in Hotel Management/Culinary Arts.
- Freshers can apply; relevant kitchen experience will be an advantage.
- Knowledge or exposure to Continental, Chinese and Multi-Cuisine preparation.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced F&B; environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
