Beyond Mentor is looking for Career Xperts / College Guidance Counsellors to join our Counselling & Career Guidance team in Chennai.
The role involves providing personalized career and higher-education guidance to students across our partner schools. You will work closely with students and parents to understand their academic interests, strengths, career aspirations, and future goals, and help them identify suitable career and college pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and group career counselling sessions.
- Guide students on career options, academic pathways, and future opportunities.
- Provide personalized college and university guidance based on student profiles.
- Support students in developing structured higher-education plans.
- Conduct parent counselling sessions whenever required.
- Maintain student counselling records and action plans.
- Follow up with students to track progress and agreed action points.
- Coordinate with school counsellors, coordinators, and internal teams.
- Conduct and support career workshops, university sessions, career fairs, and campus-connect activities.
- Stay updated on domestic and international higher-education opportunities and pathways.
- Support students through the college application and decision-making process within the defined scope.
- Maintain confidentiality and qualified standards in all student interactions.
Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who are passionate about career counselling, student development, and higher-education guidance , with strong communication, interpersonal, counselling, and stakeholder-management skills.
