Responsibilities: Operate CNC, VMC, HMC and other machining machines as per production requirements. Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions and machining specifications. Perform machine loading/unloading, tool setting and basic offset adjustments.
Monitor machining processes and ensure components are produced as per drawing requirements. Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge and bore gauge. Maintain required quality standards and follow inspection procedures.
Identify machining defects, tool wear and machine-related issues and report them to the supervisor. Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures. Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection activities.
Requirements: ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.
Experience in CNC/VMC/HMC machine operation will be an advantage. Ability to read engineering drawings and use basic measuring instruments. Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets and basic machining processes. Willingness to work in shifts. Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered. Valuable discipline, attendance and willingness to learn are essential.
