- Set up and operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections of machined components, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and tolerances.
- Analyze measurement data and generate inspection reports, including identifying any non-conformities and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop inspection plans and optimize measurement techniques.
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment, ensuring all tools and devices are functioning accurately and safely.
- Document inspection processes and results in compliance with quality management systems and industry standards.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Robust understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) principles
- Proficiency in CMM programming and operation, including experience with software such as PC-DMIS & CAD software for measurement planning.
