Role : Cloud Solution Architect - Rust

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect - Rust with strong expertise in cloud-native architecture and Rust-based application development.

The role will focus on designing distributed cloud applications and guiding engineering teams in building scalable, high-performance Rust services.

Key Responsibilities / KRA :

- Design cloud-native solutions for scalable and distributed applications using Rust and AWS.
- Translate business and non-functional requirements into cloud-native technical architectures.
- Define microservice boundaries, API contracts, integration patterns, data architecture, and deployment strategies.
- Guide engineering teams in designing and developing production-grade Rust services.
- Provide technical guidance on Rust application architecture, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and performance.
- Design architectures for scalability, high availability, resilience, security, and disaster recovery.
- Review application and cloud architecture to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, technical discussions, and architecture governance.
- Define application observability and monitoring requirements for cloud-native services.
- Identify technical risks,



dependencies, architecture trade-offs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Work closely with Engineering, Cloud, DevOps/SRE, Security, QA, Product, and Operations teams.
- Provide technical leadership during application integration, production readiness, and complex production issues.
- Document architecture decisions, technical standards, dependencies, and operational requirements.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Solution Architecture.
- Strong experience with Rust and production-grade Rust services.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with microservices and REST/API-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, scalability, and performance.
- Strong AWS experience with cloud-native application architectures.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills.

Valuable to Have :

- Experience with EKS/ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, and EventBridge.
- Experience with CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, or AWS X-Ray.
- Experience building high-performance backend platforms using Rust
