Role Description The Cloud Security Trainer will design and deliver training programs on cloud security concepts, best practices, and tools to internal teams and external clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing training materials, creating hands-on labs and demonstrations, and conducting live remote training sessions and workshops. The trainer will assess learner needs, adapt content for different skill levels, and provide feedback and guidance on secure cloud architecture, configuration, and incident response.

This is a part-time remote role, requiring effective time management, clear communication,



and the ability to work independently while coordinating with SSMT Solutions’ technical and management teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong cloud security skills, including knowledge of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), secure configuration, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks.
- Candidates should possess instructional and training skills, such as curriculum design, creating engaging learning materials, delivering virtual training, and assessing learner progress.
- Candidates should possess cybersecurity fundamentals, including understanding of network security, encryption, vulnerability management, and incident response principles.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess relevant technical qualifications, such as experience in a cloud or security role, and certifications like CCSP, CISSP, AWS/Azure Security specialty, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and self-management skills, OKTA, PING identity, AUTH0 manage multiple training engagements, and meet agreed timelines.
