nJob Summary

nExperience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support cloud cost management, billing operations, pricing administration, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with Cloud Operations, Finance, and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate cloud usage reporting, invoice generation, and cost optimization.

nRequired Skills

nExperience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

nUnderstanding of cloud billing, pricing, and cost management concepts.

nStrong analytical and reporting skills.

nExperience with Excel (Advanced), Power Query, Pivot Tables, CSV data analysis.

nExperience in Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, or similar reporting tools.

nStrong understanding of invoice reconciliation and financial reporting.

nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

nPreferred Skills

nFinOps Foundation Certification or Cloud Financial Management experience.

nExperience with OCI Billing and Cost Analysis tools.

nSQL for data analysis and reporting.

nPython or scripting for reporting automation.

nExperience working with Finance, Accounting, or Revenue Operations teams.

nQualifications

nBachelor‘s degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

n3+ years of experience in Cloud Cost Management, FinOps, Billing Operations, Financial Reporting, or Cloud Operations.





nExperience supporting multi-tenant cloud environments preferred.

nKey Responsibilities

nOCI Cost & Usage Management

nMonitor and analyze OCI cloud consumption across customers, tenancies, and compartments.

nTrack compute, storage, network, and database resource utilization.

nIdentify cost optimization opportunities and provide recommendations.

nInvestigate usage anomalies and unexpected spending increases.

nSupport cloud budgeting, forecasting, and spend governance activities.

n

nRate Card & Pricing Management

nMaintain customer-specific rate cards, discounts, and pricing structures.

nApply pricing rules and validate cloud consumption charges.

nSupport pricing model updates and contract-based billing requirements.

nEnsure pricing accuracy across customer accounts and services.

n

nInvoice & Billing Support

nGenerate customer invoices based on OCI usage data.

nReconcile cloud usage reports with billing records.

nInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies.

nSupport monthly and quarterly billing cycles.

nCollaborate with Finance teams to ensure invoice accuracy and timely delivery.

nReporting & Dashboard Development

nCreate and maintain OCI cost, usage, pricing, and billing dashboards.

nDevelop reports for cloud spending, profitability, and consumption trends.

nAutomate reporting processes wherever possible.

nPresent financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

nDocumentation & Process Management

nMaintain documentation related to billing processes, pricing methodologies, and reporting procedures.

nCreate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.

nEnsure compliance with internal financial and operational processes.
