Role Summary

We are looking for an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist who is early in their career and eager to grow. You will provide psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also contribute to teaching and training at Sereniche Academy.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment

- Conduct structured clinical interviews and mental status examinations
- Administer, score, and interpret psychometric tests covering personality, intelligence, neuropsychological function, and symptom rating scales
- Prepare clear, timely psychological assessment reports
- Support the psychiatrist's diagnostic formulation (ICD-11 / DSM-5-TR)

Therapy and Intervention

- Deliver evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, ACT and other modalities) in individual, family, and group formats
- Develop individualised treatment plans and track progress with standardised outcome measures
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and families

Crisis and Risk Management

- Conduct suicide and self-harm risk assessments using structured tools
- Create safety plans and escalate high-risk cases according to centre protocols
- Support crisis intervention when required





Documentation and Team Work

- Maintain accurate, confidential case records that meet ethical and legal standards, including the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017
- Present cases in multidisciplinary reviews with psychiatrists, counsellors, and other staff
- Take part in clinical supervision and peer review

Teaching and Training at Sereniche Academy

- Deliver sessions, workshops, and practical training for Academy programmes
- Help develop course content, case material, and assessment demonstrations
- Mentor trainees and interns during clinical exposure

Qualifications
- M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognised institution
- Valid RCI registration (CRR number) is mandatory
- Freshers are welcome to apply; up to 2 years of clinical experience is preferred

Skills and Competencies
- Sound knowledge of psychopathology, psychometrics, and evidence-based therapies
- Strong verbal and written communication in English and Malayalam
- Empathy, a non-judgemental approach, and strict adherence to confidentiality and ethics
- Comfort with teaching or presenting to groups
- Openness to supervision, feedback, and continuous learning
