Experienced and qualified engineers provide end-to-end support from project brief to execution.

In addition to project work, Lightarc offers annual maintenance contract (AMC) services for MEP systems, giving clients long-term reliability and technical support.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Civil Engineer (Snagging) role based in Mumbai.

The Civil

Engineer will be responsible for conducting snagging inspections on civil and related MEP works, identifying defects, incomplete items, and non-conformities against design drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing snag lists, coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure timely rectification, and verifying completion of corrective actions. The role involves reviewing civil engineering designs and plans, monitoring site work progress, documenting findings through reports and photos, and supporting handover processes.

The Civil





Engineer will also contribute to safety compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of site practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and practical experience applying civil engineering principles on construction sites.

- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

- Experience in Planning and coordinating snagging activities, schedules, and site workflows.

- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure, including drainage systems and site grading.

- Previous experience working as Civil Engineers on building or infrastructure projects, preferably with exposure to MEP coordination.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.

- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to prepare clear snag reports and checklists.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary site teams and contractors.

- Familiarity with relevant construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.

- Ability to work full time on-site in Mumbai and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
