Compensation: ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 / month (Commensurate with experience and technical expertise)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Civil Site Engineer with hands-on experience in municipal infrastructure execution. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day site operations across wet utilities projects—specifically focusing on sewage and water supply pipeline networks. This role requires solid on-site leadership, survey proficiency, cross-functional communication, and material management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution & Pipeline Operations:

Direct and supervise on-site execution of sewage networking (gravity/pressure pipelines, manholes, chamber construction) and water supply distribution networks . Monitor excavation, pipe laying, jointing, alignment, backfilling, and hydrostatic/leak testing in compliance with engineering drawings and standards.

- Surveying & Site Engineering:

Perform and verify site surveying, bench-marking, slope/gradient setting, and leveling using Auto Level, Total Station, or GPS instruments to ensure precise invert levels and flow gradients. Interpret structural/hydraulic layout drawings and translate them accurately to field execution.
- Coordination & Reporting:

Maintain communication channels between field teams, sub-contractors, fellow site engineers, Project Managers, and the Director. Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), site measurement sheets,



and update management on target timelines and site obstacles.
- Material & Inventory Management:

Evaluate and inspect incoming site raw materials (concrete pipes, ductile iron/HDPE pipes, cement, aggregate, fittings) for quality and adherence to specifications. Maintain physical stock records, track daily raw material usage/wastage, and coordinate timely material requisitions with suppliers and store managers.
- Quality Control & Safety:

Ensure strict compliance with quality control protocols, compaction testing, and trenching safety guidelines. Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of field experience in civil site execution, ideally within underground utilities, pipe networks, or water/wastewater projects.
- Technical Skills:

Proficiency in leveling instruments (Auto Level) and survey instruments. Basic knowledge of reading AutoCAD layout drawings.

Sound understanding of material properties, concrete mix ratios, and piping fittings.

- Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills in Punjabi and Hindi/English. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage site labor effectively.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel across project sites within Punjab and the Chandigarh Tricity area.
