Role Overview

We are looking for candidates with hands-on operational experience in Cisco Nexus Fabric (VXLAN EVPN/NDFC) or Cisco SDA Fabric environments, rather than standalone Nexus deployments.

Technology Stack / Scope
- Cisco SD-Access: Troubleshooting SDA fabric, VXLAN overlays, and SDA policies
- Catalyst Center (DNA Center): Network monitoring, provisioning support, and assurance workflows
- NDFC (Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller): Monitoring and troubleshooting VXLAN EVPN data center fabrics
- Cisco ISE: AAA troubleshooting and endpoint profiling issues
- FortiManager: Firewall configuration management and policy updates
- FortiAnalyzer: Log monitoring, reporting, and security analysis
- FortiGate Firewalls: Firewall policies, VPNs, routing, and multi-VDOM
- BGP Routing:



Monitoring and troubleshooting eBGP/iBGP
- Aruba Wireless: APs, controllers, SSIDs, and ClearPass integration

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Robust experience in:
- Enterprise networking (L2/L3 switching & routing)
- Network troubleshooting and incident resolution

- Knowledge of
- SDN concepts and Cisco SD-Access
- Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF preferred)
- Network security and firewall technologies

- Wireless networking (Aruba preferred)

Platform Expertise
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco SD-Access and Catalyst Center

- Cisco ISE
- Fortinet stack (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
- Data center networking (VXLAN/EVPN exposure preferred)

Additional Skills
- Basic scripting/automation (Python or similar preferred)
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow

Experience Requirements
- L3 Engineer: 5–8+ years of experience with advanced troubleshooting and escalation handling

- Proven experience in
- Supporting enterprise or data center networks
- Handling major incidents and critical issues

Preferred Certifications
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP Enterprise
- Fortinet NSE Certifications
- Aruba Certifications (optional / preferred)
