- Prepare and maintain product-wise costing based on material, labour, machine, and other relevant costs.

- Review costing periodically and update it based on changes in cost components.

Machine Hour

Rate

- Review the rates periodically based on actual operating costs and production hours.

- Calculate and monitor Machine Hour Rates for different machines and production processes.

Standard

Costing

- Assist in establishing and maintaining standard costs for products.

- Compare standard costs with actual costs and identify major variations.

4.

Product

Pricing

- Prepare costing-based pricing for products.

- Support the team in analysing the impact of cost changes on product prices and margins.

5.

Gross

Profit & Profitability

- Calculate and monitor Gross Profit at product level.





- Prepare product-wise profitability analysis and identify significant variations in margins.

- Assist in identifying reasons for lower or higher profitability.

6. MIS & Analysis

- Prepare regular MIS reports relating to costing, pricing, Gross Profit, and product profitability.

- Provide relevant analysis and information to support management decisions.

7. Coordination & Other Activities

- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, and Accounts teams for costing-related information.

- Take up other costing, analysis, and MIS-related work as assigned by the Head from time to time.
