Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant Articleship role based in Bengaluru South. The articled clerk will assist in various audit engagements, including statutory, internal, concurrent, and revenue audits, primarily for banking and financial sector clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting audit planning and execution, performing vouching and verification, preparing working papers and schedules, and assisting in drafting audit observations and reports.





The role also involves participating in taxation and compliance work, supporting due diligence and special assignments, and maintaining accurate documentation as per firm and regulatory standards. The articled clerk will work closely with senior team members, interact with client personnel, and receive structured training to build professional competence and ethical practice.

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in a Chartered Accountancy program and eligible for articleship as per ICAI regulations.
- Strong accounting and auditing fundamentals, including knowledge of basic accounting standards, audit procedures, and working paper documentation.
- Understanding of taxation concepts (direct and indirect taxes) and interest in developing expertise in compliance and advisory work.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with accounting and audit software; basic IT literacy for handling data and reports.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in teams and interact professionally with clients.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving mindset, with a commitment to integrity and professional ethics.
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and adapt to a structured, process-driven environment in on-site client locations.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in audit, accounts, or finance is an advantage but not mandatory.
