? We’re Hiring | Sen-Level CFX Artist

People Media Factory (PMF) is looking for a talented Sen-Level CFX Artist ( 7-9 Years) to join our growing VFX team in Hyderabad .

We’re looking for artists with hands-on experience in creating physically believable cloth, hair, groom, fur, and secondary character simulations for film and VFX production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and simulate cloth, costumes, hair, fur, groom, and secondary character dynamics.
- Handle collisions, penetrations, constraints, and character-costume-environment interactions.
- Work with animation caches and character rigs to achieve secure simulations.
- Create clean simulation caches and outputs for Lighting and downstream departments.
- Troubleshoot simulation issues while maintaining visual quality and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with Animation,



Character, FX, and Lighting teams.

Core Skills:

• Experience with Houdini, Maya, Blender , or equivalent CFX/simulation tools.

• Good understanding of cloth, hair, groom dynamics, collisions, and secondary motion .

- Understanding of character anatomy, rigs, geometry caches, and animation handoffs.
- Strong eye for physically believable movement and material behavior.

Preferred:

- Film/VFX production experience involving characters, creatures, or costume-heavy shots.
- Experience resolving intersections and simulation issues across shots.

• Exposure to muscle/skin dynamics is an advantage.
