Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's finance function and strengthen financial governance, reporting, controls, compliance, and business processes. The CFO will play a critical role in building a scalable, disciplined, and IPO-ready finance function and will work closely with the Managing Director and Board of Directors on financial strategy, business performance, risk management, capital planning, and the proposed SME IPO. The ideal candidate should combine strong strategic financial leadership with hands-on execution and have experience managing finance in electronics manufacturing, telecom, electronics imports/distribution, technology, trading, or other process-driven organizations.

Build and lead an IPO-ready finance function with: Reliable and timely financial reporting Strong internal controls and accounting processes Complete statutory and regulatory compliance Effective cash and working-capital management Strong banking and treasury operations Robust MIS and management reporting Scalable finance processes and systems A capable and accountable finance team

Key Responsibilities 1.

Finance

Strategy, Planning &

- Business Performance Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in line with business growth, profitability, and capital requirements. Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-term financial planning, and scenario analysis. Prepare and present management dashboards and financial insights to the Managing Director and Board. Provide financial analysis on margins, pricing, costs, investments, risks, and business performance. Drive improvements in cash flow, working capital, inventory management, receivables, and overall return on capital. Evaluate funding requirements, expansion plans, strategic partnerships, and investment proposals.
- Accounting, Financial Reporting, Controls &
- Audit Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.



Establish and strengthen accounting policies, SOPs, approval matrices, maker-checker controls, and audit trails. Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts, reconciliations, inventory valuation, fixed assets, and cost accounting records. Lead statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations. Ensure financial reporting is aligned with applicable accounting standards, including Ind AS where applicable. Strengthen internal financial controls and minimize financial and operational risks.
- Statutory, Tax &
- Regulatory Compliance Ensure timely compliance under the Companies Act and MCA/ROC requirements in coordination with the Company Secretary and external advisors. Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, Customs, FEMA, and other applicable statutory and financial compliances. Establish and maintain a centralized compliance calendar with explicit ownership and escalation mechanisms. Coordinate with consultants and professional advisors for tax assessments, regulatory notices, and representations. Support regulatory, stock exchange, and other applicable compliance requirements associated with the proposed SME IPO.
- Treasury, Banking &
- Capital Management Lead treasury operations, liquidity planning, and relationships with banks and financial institutions. Manage and optimize CC, OD, term loans, bank guarantees, letters of credit, and trade finance facilities. Plan and manage capital requirements, fundraising, debt restructuring, and financing costs. Monitor banking covenants and financial risks.



Manage foreign exchange exposure and working-capital risks arising from import/export operations. Develop strong relationships with bankers and financial institutions. 5.

Process

Improvement, ERP &
- Automation Review and improve key financial processes including: o Order-to-Cash o Procure-to-Pay o Inventory Management o Expense Management o Payroll o Record-to-Report Drive ERP discipline, automation, financial dashboards, and accurate MIS. Establish measurable process controls, SLAs, turnaround times, and exception reporting. Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to improve financial discipline and process efficiency.
- SME IPO Readiness Lead the finance function's preparation for the proposed SME IPO. Coordinate finance-related activities for due diligence and IPO preparedness. Ensure availability and accuracy of financial records and supporting documentation. Identify and close gaps in accounting, compliance, controls, reporting, and governance. Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, merchant bankers, consultants, and other professional stakeholders. Maintain a structured and reliable finance data room for due diligence. Support the development of financial information and management reporting required for the IPO process.
- Leadership &
- Stakeholder Management Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance, accounts, taxation, and compliance team. Define clear responsibilities, performance expectations, review mechanisms, and succession plans. Develop the team's technical and functional capabilities. Work closely with the Managing Director and Board on strategic financial decisions. Manage relationships with investors, bankers, auditors, advisors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
