Role Purpose THE ROLE: The Centre Head is responsible for the safe, respectful and smooth daily operation of Assisted Living Centre. The role brings together resident support, staff supervision, family communication, safety, supplies, documentation and emergency coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day facility operations and ensure that approved services are delivered on time.
- Welcome new residents and coordinate room preparation, orientation and settling-in support.
- Ensure that each resident receives support according to the approved assessment and care plan.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor attendance, punctuality, conduct, handovers and leave coverage.
- Conduct daily checks of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchen, stairs and safety equipment.
- Maintain resident, visitor, staff, inventory, complaint, incident and maintenance records.
- Ensure that meals, housekeeping, laundry, activities and medication reminders are delivered as planned.
- Speak with residents regularly, respect their preferences and resolve routine concerns promptly.
- Provide scheduled updates to authorised family members and document important communication.
- Escalate changes in a resident's health, behaviour, mobility or care needs to the family.
- Coordinate doctor visits, ambulance support or hospital transfer when required.
- Record and report falls, injuries, medication concerns, complaints and unusual events immediately.
- Conduct fire, emergency, infection-control, food-safety and resident-safety checks.
- Ensure that CCTV access, resident information and photographs are handled confidentially.
- Manage approved petty cash, groceries, household consumables, maintenance and authorised vendors.




- Support property visits and pre-admission assessments without making unapproved commitments.
- Conduct staff briefings, training, feedback and performance reviews.
- Submit accurate daily, weekly and monthly operating reports to management.

Role Boundaries

IMPORTANT: These boundaries protect residents, families, employees, and Assisted Living Cente. Escalate any operational uncertainty or clinical boundary breach immediately to the Operations Head / Management.

- Do not describe the centre as a hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation centre or secured memory-care facility.
- Do not promise continuous nursing, one-to-one care, a particular room, a medical outcome or an unapproved service.
- Do not conceal incidents, complaints, staffing gaps or changes in a resident's condition.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in hospitality, healthcare administration, social work, nursing administration or a related field preferred.
- At least three years of relevant experience in senior care, assisted living, healthcare, hospitality or residential facility management preferred.
- Able to supervise staff, maintain records and coordinate calmly with residents, families and vendors.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, email and basic spreadsheets.
- Valuable spoken Hindi and English; knowledge of the Local Language (Garhwali)

- Calm, organized, and deeply patient with the physical and emotional needs of seniors.
- Police/background verification and satisfactory reference checks required.

Performance Measures

- Resident and family satisfaction.
- Staff attendance, coverage and service discipline.
- Timely family updates and issue resolution.
- Accuracy of resident and operating records.
- Cleanliness, meal quality and facility readiness.
- Timely reporting and handling of incidents.
- Facility safety: fixing hazards quickly and completing all routine safety checks on schedule.

Common Employment and Conduct Requirements

- Treat every resident with dignity, patience, and respect, free from discrimination."
- Follow the approved duty roster, attendance rules, dress code, hygiene standards and handover process.
- Keep resident, family and business information confidential.
- Do not take or share resident photographs or videos without authorisation.
- Do not borrow from, lend to or conduct personal financial dealings with residents.
- Report incidents, complaints, errors, abuse concerns and safety risks immediately.
- Attend required training in senior care, first aid, fire safety, infection control, privacy and emergency response.
- Full-time employment does not mean continuous duty. Working hours, rest periods, shifts and weekly offs will follow the approved roster and applicable employment requirements.
