Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive plastic trim components using CATIA V5
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and 2D engineering drawings
- Work on component development from design inputs through design finalisation
- Implement design changes and engineering modifications as per project requirements
- Ensure designs meet functional, dimensional, quality and manufacturing requirements
- Apply GD&T; and automotive design standards where required
- Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, quality and other engineering teams
- Identify and resolve design-related issues during product development
- Support design validation and ensure timely completion of project deliverables
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5
- Good knowledge of automotive plastic trim design
- Experience in 3D modelling and 2D engineering drawings
- Understanding of GD&T; and automotive design standards
- Knowledge of product development and engineering change processes
- Valuable understanding of manufacturing and tooling requirements
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
Qualification B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or equivalent
