About The Future Council The Future Council (TFC) is a student-led startup ecosystem built to help ambitious students go from ideas to teams to startups.

We're building both sides of the startup pipeline: a growing network of passionate student talent who can work with early-stage ventures, and a selective fellowship that helps aspiring founders build through mentorship, resources, networking, and access to founders and investors.

And we're not trying to build another boring student community.

About the Role

We're looking for a Capital Acquisition Intern who is curious about startups, fundraising and the investor ecosystem.

Your job isn't just to find investors or send emails.

You'll help TFC build relationships with investors, family offices, angels, VCs and other capital providers who could potentially support the founders and startups coming through our ecosystem.

You'll research relevant investors, identify the right people to approach, build and maintain investor databases, support outreach, understand investment theses and help create a strong capital network around TFC.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to understand how fundraising actually works and how startups connect with capital.

What You'll Work On

Research VCs, angel investors, family offices and other capital providers.

Identify investors whose thesis and interests align with TFC's founders and startups.

Find relevant decision-makers and partnership contacts.

Build and maintain structured investor and capital databases.

Research investment portfolios, sectors, stages and ticket sizes.





Support investor outreach and communication.

Help prepare founder and startup information for investor conversations.

Track outreach, responses, meetings and follow-ups.

Identify potential fundraising opportunities for startups in the TFC ecosystem.

Help build long-term relationships with investors and the broader startup ecosystem.

Work with the founding team on capital acquisition and fundraising initiatives.

What We're Looking For

We're not looking for someone who simply knows what a VC is.

We're looking for someone with:

Strong research and analytical skills.

Genuine interest in startups, venture capital and fundraising.

The ability to identify relevant investors through research.

Strong communication and writing skills.

Good attention to detail.

Ability to organise large amounts of information efficiently.

Comfort with spreadsheets, databases and online research.

Curiosity about how investors evaluate startups.

Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Willingness to learn about fundraising, venture capital and the startup ecosystem.

Solid execution and follow-through.

You don't need previous experience in venture capital or investment banking.If you've researched startups, followed the VC ecosystem,



built investor lists, worked on fundraising, participated in an entrepreneurship club, conducted market research or simply have a strong interest in how startups raise capital, we want to hear from you.

Compensation & Growth

Month 1: Unpaid probation period

This month is about seeing how we work together and evaluating your research, consistency, communication and execution.

After Month 1: ₹5,000/month based on performance.

If your work is exceptional, there is an opportunity for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) with a significantly better compensation package and a larger role within TFC.
