We are looking for a CAM Engineer with hands-on experience in CATIA Manufacturing modules. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating CNC machining programs, tool path generation, machining process planning, and supporting manufacturing operations using CATIA CAM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize CNC machining programs using CATIA CAM.
- Develop tool paths for milling, drilling, boring, and turning operations.
- Interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Define machining strategies, cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Validate machining programs through simulation and collision checking.
- Support production by troubleshooting machining-related issues.
- Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
- Ensure adherence to customer standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Maintain CAM documentation and process sheets.
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CATIA CAM.
- Good knowledge of CNC machining processes.
- Experience in 3-axis or 5-axis machining.
- Robust understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.
- Experience in tool path generation and machining simulation.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
