About Stax Living

Stax Living is a luxury furniture and interior design company specialising in bespoke furniture, high-end residential interiors and custom manufacturing.

We are looking for an experienced CAD Draftsman for Interiors and Furniture who can convert concepts, sketches, 3D models and site measurements into accurate, production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for interiors and furniture.

Create plans, elevations, sections and GFC / execution drawings.

Develop detailed production drawings for sofas, armchairs, tables, beds, wardrobes, consoles, sideboards, bars, doors, wall panels and custom furniture.

Prepare drawings showing

Overall and component dimensions

Material and section thicknesses

Joinery details

Veneer direction

Metal, marble, glass and upholstery details

Hardware and mechanisms

Finishes and edge profiles

Assembly and CNC details where required

Prepare interior drawings including furniture layouts, flooring, ceilings, electrical, lighting, wall elevations, wardrobes, kitchens, bathrooms and joinery details.

Visit sites for measurements and prepare as-built drawings.

Coordinate with designers, production teams, vendors and site teams.

Revise drawings based on site and factory feedback.

Maintain drawing revisions and proper CAD documentation.

Furniture construction and joinery

Plywood, MDF, solid wood and veneer

Upholstery

Metal fabrication

Marble, stone and glass

Hardware and fittings

CNC manufacturing

Interior execution

Dimensions, tolerances and assembly

Candidate Profile

Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field.

3–7 years of relevant experience preferred.

Experience with furniture manufacturers, interior contractors or design studios preferred.

Strong technical detailing and problem-solving skills.

Ability to translate design intent into practical, buildable drawings.

High attention to detail and strong coordination skills.

What We Are Looking For

We need someone who understands how furniture and interiors are actually manufactured and executed, not just someone who can draft in AutoCAD.

The candidate should be able to understand materials, construction, joinery, assembly and site conditions and produce drawings that can be directly used by the factory and execution teams.
