Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CA Fresher – Stat Audit role based in Dehradun. The role involves assisting in statutory audits of companies across various sectors, including planning audit procedures, performing detailed testing of financial statements, and documenting working papers in line with firm and regulatory standards. The professional will support the audit team in analyzing financial data, verifying compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and preparing schedules and reports for review by senior team members.





Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with client personnel for information, understanding business processes and internal controls, identifying and reporting variances or issues, and contributing to the timely completion of audit assignments. The role also includes continuous learning on updates in accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit methodologies, as well as participation in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications

- Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong foundational knowledge in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting.
- Sound understanding of statutory audit concepts, auditing standards, and basic knowledge of direct and indirect tax, including GST.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, perform reconciliations, and interpret accounting data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and other standard office tools; familiarity with audit software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Capability to work under deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and adapt to structured processes and documentation requirements.
