Position Title: Buyer 1

Eligibility Criteria:

- Years of Experience: 1.5- 3 years

- Job Experience: Experience in an MRP-based Planning for Spare Parts

- Educational: Engineering or equivalent degree

Primary Responsibilities:

- Responsible for assuring the availability of replenishment spare parts and upgrade kits for Lam Customers as well as for regional depots.

- Manage the planning and resupply of material for an assigned set of parts, in support of organizational asset management and customer service goals

- Rely on both the analysis of historical consumption and the technical expertise of new product evaluation

- Implement ERP planning parameter changes as determined by the established process of parameter review against demand and installed base





- Reviews and reacts to MRP exception messages to correct due-date shortfalls in planned supply, with a focus on specific customer account requirements for material availability and corporate financial results for asset management

- Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action analyses unexpected, undesirable results and present them to management

- Support execution to established NCU procedures, controls, and governance requirements.

- Drive machine down threat allocation deployment actions to process scarce materials availability at regions.

- Support planning and execution of repair, refurb and cores availability coordinating with reverse logistics team.

- Support critical Manufacturing requirements from spares network within set process guidelines.

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

- Robust skills in the areas of service parts/spares parts planning

- Strong analytical, problem solving and system skills

- Proficiency in SAP MM OR worked in any ERP, MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

o Advanced level in MS Excel o Intermediate level MS Access

- High energy, strong work ethic, adaptive, able to meet tight deadlines

- Proven ability and skill set to analyze, document and improve business processes with sustained results

- High level of customer interfacing skills, effective listener, professional and courteous

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross-functionally

- Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as part of a team

Desirable Skill:

- Familiarity with service planning, forecasting, and optimization system software (Preferably SPM)

- Semiconductor capital equipment product knowledge and relevant experience in the semiconductor industry
