Role & responsibilities

This is a generalist role that gives someone early in their career real exposure to how a business runs end to end, across product, strategy, operations, HR, and leadership. Responsibilities are not fixed to a single function and will vary based on business priority at any given time. Depending on the assignment, the role may involve:

Cross-Functional Project Support

- Assisting the Product team with scoping requirements and writing user stories
- Tracking progress on feature development and coordinating follow-ups across teams
- Supporting Strategy and leadership with competitive research, market scans, and internal briefing notes

Reporting & Communication

- Creating MIS reports and dashboards for various functions
- Building presentations and decks for leadership and internal reviews
- Communicating and coordinating with external vendors on ongoing requirements
- Drafting internal communication, notes, and updates on behalf of stakeholders

Operations & Process

- Helping design and document SOPs across functions
- Assisting with hiring process coordination, including screening, scheduling, and offer follow-ups
- Coordinating across Leadership, HR, Legal, and Operations as assignments require
- Bringing structure to ambiguous, cross-functional problems and driving them to resolution independently




- Building a working understanding of how a lending business operates, from product decisions to operational execution

Key Skills & Competencies

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (mandatory), including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and conditional functions (IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, etc.); Excel Associate certification is a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL is an added advantage, though not mandatory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with comfort managing ambiguity
- Ability to quickly pick up context and work across unfamiliar functions
- Demonstrated ownership mindset and ability to execute end to end
- Curiosity to understand how a lending business works, and an openness to picking up new areas as the role evolves
- Prior experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity in academic or skilled work, and comfort using such tools in day-to-day work, is preferred

Preferred candidate profile

- 0-2 years of work experience preferred; freshers are welcome
- Graduate in any discipline (non-engineers preferred)
- Candidates who reside in Mumbai are strongly preferred
- Immediate joiners preferred
- This is a fully in-office role; work week is Monday to Saturday with two Saturdays off per month
