Role Purpose The Operation MIS Lead will serve as the custodian of operational intelligence across ATA's Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, Transportation, and 4PL businesses.

This role is accountable for transforming fragmented operational data into a centralized decision-support ecosystem that enables leadership to improve service quality, operational efficiency, customer experience, profitability, and business scalability.

Beyond dashboard development, the incumbent will establish a single source of truth, drive reporting governance, standardize KPI frameworks, identify business risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights that influence strategic and operational decisions.

The role will partner closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Key Account Management, and Data teams to elevate reporting from a transactional function into a competitive business capability.

Key Accountabilities

- Enterprise Reporting & Analytics Leadership

- Establish and govern ATA's end-to-end Operational MIS framework across all service lines.
- Create a unified reporting architecture that provides consistent visibility across Operations, Commercial, Customer, and Finance functions.
- Drive the organization's transition toward self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure reporting standards, KPI definitions, and business logic remain consistent across the organization.
- Act as the reporting authority for operational and commercial performance measurement.

2. Power BI & Visualization Strategy
- Lead development of enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards.
- Deliver interactive reporting environments supporting leadership, operations teams, and customers.
- Design scalable visualization frameworks capable of handling complex freight forwarding data.
- Integrate multiple data sources including TMS, ERP, WMS, Finance, CRM, and customer systems.
- Build automated dashboards enabling near real-time operational visibility.

3. Operational Performance Intelligence

Develop performance frameworks covering:

Convert operational performance trends into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Commercial & Financial Analytics

- Deliver visibility into revenue, margin, cost, and profitability drivers.
- Identify revenue leakage and billing compliance gaps.
- Support pricing and commercial decision-making through analytical insights.
- Develop shipment-wise, customer-wise, trade lane-wise, and service line-wise profitability analysis.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through data-backed recommendations.

5. Advanced Analytics & Root Cause Management
- Build exception-led monitoring models to proactively identify operational risks.
- Design root-cause analytics frameworks across process, people, systems, vendors, and customer dimensions.
- Identify operational bottlenecks affecting customer experience and profitability.
- Develop predictive and trend-based reporting to enable proactive interventions.
- Drive corrective action governance and performance improvement initiatives.

6. Executive Decision Support
- Provide leadership with meaningful business intelligence and performance narratives.
- Generate executive dashboards, scorecards, and business reviews.
- Translate complex datasets into business-focused insights.
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational reviews.
- Recommend actions that improve productivity, service quality, and financial outcomes.

7. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Partner with Operations, Finance,



Commercial, IT, and Data teams.
- Lead reporting reviews with business stakeholders and key customers.
- Understand evolving business requirements and continuously enhance reporting capabilities.
- Drive adoption of reporting tools and analytical thinking across functions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational reporting governance matters.

Educational Qualification

Mandatory

- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.

Preferred

- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Operations, Supply Chain, Analytics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Certifications in Power BI, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Visualization would be an added advantage.

Professional Experience

Total Experience

- 8-12 years of experience in MIS, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or Operations Performance Management.

Domain Experience (Mandatory)

- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, Contract Logistics, Transportation, or 4PL operations.
- Robust understanding of end-to-end shipment lifecycle across Ocean, Air, Inland Transportation, Warehousing, and Customs processes.

Business Intelligence & Analytics Experience

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI dashboard development and analytics.
- Proven experience in developing enterprise-level MIS frameworks and reporting governance models.
- Experience in data modeling, dashboard automation, KPI design, and analytic solutions.
- Experience working with large operational and commercial datasets.
