Role Description The Business Head role is a full-time, on-site position based in Patiala.

The Business

Head will oversee overall business operations, including strategic planning, branch performance, product portfolio growth, and compliance with regulatory guidelines applicable to NBFCs. This role involves leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, setting sales and collection targets, monitoring key performance indicators, and driving customer acquisition and retention in target markets.

Head will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement policies, manage risk, optimize processes,



and ensure high standards of customer service. The position also requires regular market analysis, stakeholder relationship management, and continuous improvement of operational efficiency and technology adoption.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills, with the ability to guide and motivate diverse teams.
- Proven experience in business strategy, financial planning, and performance management within financial services (preferably NBFC, microfinance, or banking).
- Expertise in sales, business development, and portfolio growth, including target setting, market expansion, and customer relationship management.
- Sound understanding of risk management, credit assessment, collections, and regulatory compliance in the Indian financial sector.
- Proficiency in using technology-driven financial products and digital tools to improve operations, reporting, and customer experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in leading regional or branch networks and working with underserved or rural markets is highly beneficial.
