Role Summary

We need a Business Development Executive who can consistently generate qualified leads and move them into the sales pipeline. This is a hunter role focused on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and supporting the closing process for IT services and custom software projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate qualified leads through outbound channels: LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, and bidding portals (Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, Guru, etc.).

- Research and build targeted prospect lists based on ideal customer profiles for software services.

- Run outbound email and LinkedIn campaigns, track responses, and follow up systematically.

- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against budget, need, and timeline before passing to the sales or pre-sales team.

- Set up discovery calls and product demos for the senior sales team.

- Draft and send initial proposals and coordinate with the technical team on scoping.

- Maintain accurate records of all activity, leads, and pipeline stages in the CRM.





- Meet monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and meetings booked.

- Track competitor activity and share market feedback with the BD team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 1 year of experience in IT sales, lead generation, or business development in a software services or IT company.

- Proven track record of generating qualified leads through outbound channels.

- Hands-on experience with bidding portals (Upwork, Freelancer, or similar) is strongly preferred.

- Working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and email outreach tools.

- Comfortable with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, or similar.

- Solid understanding of the software services offering: web development, mobile apps, and custom software.

- Solid written and verbal English communication.

- Confident, self-driven, and comfortable working to targets.
