Shree Shyam Construction Co. is expanding! We are leading Government Consultants executing prestigious infrastructure and construction projects across India. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer (Civil) to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad.

? Location: C.G. Road, Ahmedabad (In-Office / Full-Time)

? Department: Quantity Surveying, Costing & Billing

? Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Diploma in Civil / ITI Civil

? Role Overview

As an Estimation Engineer, you will play a critical role in our pre-construction phase. You will analyze project specifications, develop highly accurate cost estimates, manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) , and drive our competitive bidding process for government tenders.

? Key Responsibilities

- Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Analyze structural drawings, project specifications, and architectural blueprints to prepare detailed material, labor, equipment, and overhead cost estimates.
- BOQ & Quantity Take-offs: Prepare and verify accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and rate analysis based on SOR (Schedule of Rates) and market trends.
- Tender & Bidding Management: Assist in preparing technical and financial bid documents for government projects.




- Vendor & Material Analysis: Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors to source competitive pricing for materials and specialized sub-contracts.
- Cost Control: Develop budget forecasts, cash flow projections, and variance analysis reports to minimize project cost overruns.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in Civil Estimation, Quantity Surveying (QS), Billing, or Cost Analysis.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel , CostX , Primavera P6 , and AutoCAD.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, mathematical, and commercial negotiation skills. Deep understanding of construction materials, labor productivity rates, and IS codes.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience working with government tendering systems, public works departments, or infrastructure consultancies is highly preferred.
