Role & responsibilities - 1st Class Boiler Operator

- Operate and monitor boiler and steam generation systems safely and efficiently.
- Maintain required steam pressure, temperature and water level.
- Handle boiler start-up, shutdown and routine operations.
- Monitor fuel feeding, combustion and boiler performance.
- Conduct regular checks of boiler, pumps, valves, gauges and safety devices.
- Perform blowdown, water-level checks and boiler housekeeping.
- Monitor and maintain boiler water quality and chemical dosing.
- Attend breakdowns and basic troubleshooting of boiler equipment.
- Maintain logbooks, shift records and boiler operating parameters.
- Ensure compliance with boiler safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for uninterrupted steam supply.
- Follow 5S, PPE, safety and environmental procedures.
