Body Electronics System Engineer – Automotive

We are looking for an experienced Body Electronics System Engineer to support the development, integration, and validation of vehicle body electronic systems. The role focuses on system requirements implementation, ECU integration, diagnostics support, and vehicle-level testing of body functions while working with software, validation, supplier, and system engineering teams.

? Key Responsibilities:

Support the system development and integration of body electronics functions, assist in requirements analysis, implementation, and traceability, participate in bench, HIL, and vehicle-level testing, support ECU integration and network communication for body ECUs, assist with diagnostics and DTC validation, analyze test results, faults, and vehicle issues, coordinate with software, validation, and supplier teams for technical clarifications, follow OEM development processes and documentation standards, and prepare test reports, issue summaries, and system documentation.

? Body System Exposure:

✔ Body Control Module (BCM)

✔ Interior & Exterior Lighting Systems

✔ Access Systems such as Central Locking and Keyless Entry

✔ Comfort & Convenience Systems including Windows, Mirrors, Wiper/Washer, and Horn

✔ Seat, Closure, and Basic Security Functions

? Required Skills:

✔ Understanding of automotive body electronics systems





✔ Knowledge of CAN communication and body network concepts

✔ Familiarity with system integration and validation processes

✔ Awareness of UDS diagnostics and fault handling

✔ Understanding of ECU interaction and EE architecture fundamentals

✔ Exposure to vehicle-level testing and integration activities

?️ Tools & Technologies:

CANoe / CANalyzer (Basic Level), Vehicle Diagnostic Tools, HIL Testing, and Issue & Requirement Tracking Tools.

? Preferred:

Experience working on OEM or Tier-1 body electronics projects, exposure to vehicle testing or integration activities, basic awareness of Functional Safety or Cybersecurity concepts, and valuable communication and documentation skills.

? Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering
