Role Description The Birthday Party Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Funky Kingdom in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing birthday parties and celebration events, ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience from booking to completion. Day-to-day tasks include managing party bookings and schedules, coordinating with internal teams (games, food & beverage, decorations, and front-of-house), and communicating with guests or caregivers to understand their requirements.

The coordinator will oversee event setup, décor, and activity flow, greet and guide guests, handle last-minute changes, and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, promoting available party packages, upselling add-ons, and supporting the outlet in delivering a consistently high standard of customer service and safety.

Qualifications

- Event planning and coordination skills, with experience organizing birthday parties or similar celebrations.
- Strong customer service,



guest relations, and communication skills, including the ability to interact confidently with children, caregivers, and diverse groups.
- Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple bookings, priorities, and tight timelines.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to manage unexpected issues and guest concerns calmly and efficiently.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with operations, games, food & beverage, and front-of-house staff.
- Basic administrative and computer skills (e.g., scheduling tools, email, spreadsheets) for managing bookings and reports.
- Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and peak hours as required in an entertainment and events workplace.
- Previous experience in hospitality, entertainment centers, event management, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
